Ballymore Farm, located on the rugged Northwest coast of Co Donegal, is where the story of Whistler's Dog Food truly begins. Growing up with eight siblings, animals were always central to our lives, and dogs played an especially vital role in helping us work with sheep. One dog, in particular, stood out - Fly.

Fly wasn't from a prestigious line of working dogs but had an exceptional intelligence and loyalty that made her indispensible to our family, especially to my late father, Thomas. Fly stayed by his side throughout his battle with pancreatic cancer, offering him comfort in a way only a dog can. After his passing, Fly lost her drive for work but gradually returned to help my brother on the farm before her own passing in 2011.

Fly's companionship and loyalty, along with my father's deep love for animals, inspired me to develop Whistler's Dog Food - a high quality, affordable nutrition option for the dogs who mean so much to us. Fly's legacy lives on in every bag of food we create, nourishing the dogs that enrich our lives.
